We Value Diversity—In Experience, Background, and Perspective
As a disabled people led organisation, DR UK is keen to increase the number of disabled people it employs and as an organisation we are committed to minimising disadvantages that groups with particular protected characteristics face in the workforce. We, therefore, encourage applications from individuals, who meet the requirements of the role and who identify as either:
- Having lived experience of disability, long-term health conditions, or other access needs
- A member of the Global Majority (people from Black, Asian, Mixed, and other ethnic groups who often racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’)
- A member of the LGBTQ+ community
We are committed to equity and accessibility throughout our recruitment process. We recognise that not everyone will meet every essential requirement listed, and we value transferable skills, potential, and diverse perspectives. We encourage you to apply if you meet most of the requirements.
We’re happy to make reasonable adjustments at any stage. If there’s anything you need to take part fully—whether that’s alternative formats, flexible interview arrangements, or support with access—please let us know when you apply. We will share interview questions in advance so you have a chance to think about your answers.
